Bobbie and Shane

After planning for nearly a year, we were so excited to finally bring together all the fun details of Bobbie and Shane's wedding! Ever on trend, Bobbie's colors were blush, gold, ivory, and lots of greenery. We went for a slightly rustic, heavily floral look, which was stunningly gorgeous in person.

We provided all the decor, flowers, and day-of-coordinating for this wedding so we had a big job on our hands, but we loved every minute because we were working for such a wonderful couple. I've been to a lot of weddings and I don't usually cry, but this one hit me in the feels several times. There's nothing quite as beautiful as watching two people, so in love, promising to give each other all of their tomorrows.

The ceremony and reception were held at the Executive Hills Polo Club, near the KCI airport. Sadly, the week of the wedding brought massive amounts of rain to the area, so we were forced to have the ceremony under a tent, rather than the sunshine we had been hoping for. Despite this, the ceremony was wonderful and everyone's eyes were on the gorgeous bride.

We built a square arbor-like structure, about 9 ft tall and 12 feet wide. We gathered the curtains together in front and tied them with huge floral arrangements of roses and greenery and left the back curtains hanging down.

The aisle was lined with pale pink rose petals and the pews were decorated with champagne organza ties and roses.

The bridal bouquets were made of white hydrangea, pink peonies, and white, ivory, and pink roses and tied with twine.

On the front porch, guests were welcomed by a custom-made sign accented by roses and greenery. Just inside the front door, we had a small table with favors of small seed packets, which the guests loved.

The reception was held inside the ballroom.

We decorated the head table with a long, very full garland and roses.

We had three different types of centerpieces on the guest tables. The first was a wreath of flowers around a mason jar with floating candle, sitting atop a wooden disk.

The second centerpiece was an arrangement of flowers inside a variety of wooden boxes.

The third centerpiece used candelabras provided by the venue and topped with a floral arrangement.

The cake was gorgeous (and delicious!) and provided by Nadler's Catering. We decorated the mantle with a small garland of greenery and accented the space with pictures and the couple, flowers, and signs.

There was a large wrap-around porch/patio that led down to the bar, so we decorated with various settings and decor "stations".

An outdoor bar provided water, lemonade, and sweet tea.

The inside bar was in a small room, so we added a few touches to decorate the space appropriately, including a large vinyl sign on the mirror, mantle-piece decorations, the bar menu chalkboard.

At the end of the night, we sent the bride and groom out down a line of sparklers to their get-a-way ride, a helicopter! Best exit ever! :)
