Whitney and Kelly

I have known Whitney since she was just a little kid and she has always been like a little sister to me. She married her sweetheart, Kelly, on August 14th and I was able to help to decorate her gorgeous reception inside the Mapleton Barn. Her colors were green and brown, with a rustic theme since Kelly is such a cowboy.

We brought in white lights and draped them across the top to create a romantic mood. (Please excuse the poor quality of the pictures, the light was so bright and always in the wrong place.)

The tables were covered in a willow green organza that really brought out the gorgeous centerpieces created by Melissa of Tickled Pink Floral and the bride's family.

The family set up a lovely candy bar for the wedding favors, pre-packaged as a nice convenience to their guests.

We also brought in some unique rustic touches, including an old bench for the gift area, our black lanterns, and wagon wheels.

Outside, our black lanterns greeted guests as they entered the barn.

To finish, I have to share the beautiful bouquet made my Melissa of Tickled Pink Floral. The flowers perfectly fit the theme and were a gorgeous accessory to the stunning bride.

Thanks Whit for letting me help with your special day! Congrats on your happily ever after!!

Julia and Justin

On August 6th, I had the awesome opportunity to help Julia and Justin with their wedding reception out in Vernon, UT.

Julia had chosen hot pink and black as her wedding colors and we leaned toward a really neat shabby-chic look using black lace and hot pink gerbera daisies. It was so much fun to plan out all the details and they came together so beautifully.

On the tables we used hot pink satin overlays with a runner of black lace. The centerpiece was tall black sticks with pink gerbs attached in rectangle vases. I personally loved the look.

They chose the Jen backdrop for their line and we put black satin and pink gerbs to bring in the right flavor.

Behind the cake was a toned-down version of the pipe and drape backdrop with strands of gerbs hanging on either side of the cake table.

Outside, guests were greeted by our white lanterns flanking the sidewalk into the church.

We also provided a delicious chocolate fountain complete with all the yummy things to dip in it.

Everyone in the wedding party and their guests were so delightful to meet and talk to. It was obvious that it was a wonderful party with lots of love and friendship. Thanks for letting us be a part of your special day!
