Katherine and Kyle

We had the privledge of decorating the reception for Katie and Kyle's wedding reception. They are such a lovely couple and we were excited to be able to work with them. They had their reception at the Simpson House in midtown KC, a gorgeous historic venue with lots of charm.

Katie's colors were light pink, peach, and ivory. In addition to decorating, we were also able to provide the bridal party bouquets.

The bride's bouquet was made using four different kinds of garden roses as well as hydrangea and a few tulips. I personally loved it. :)

The Bridesmaids had bouquets of white tulips with green filler to accent their light peachy/pink dresses.

Coincidentally, the bride's bouquet perfectly matched the picture hanging above the mantle. :)

The centerpieces were composed of a 12in tall vase with 3 pink tulips inside and 2 stemmed tealight holders and 2 regular votive holders around the vase.

We strung lights on the ceiling of the patio porch to create a romantic atmosphere. We also wrapped trees in lights and hung paper lanterns from the branches. It was quite lovely.
