Christina and Jonathan

On April 1st, we decorated a wedding that was definitely not an April Fool's Day joke. It was a gorgeous outdoor affair for Christina and Jonathan, with lots of white and blue flowers. The ceremony was held at Shawnee Mission Park and the weather miraculously stayed dry and was warm enough to provide a great atmosphere for the wedding.

The ceremony took place on the wide patio of one of the more private shelters. We brought in a black wrought iron arch and decorated it with blue satin and flowers.

We used blue mason jars with white stock to create lovely pathway markers on the path from the parking lot to the ceremony site.

The flowers were so gorgeous in their simplicity. The bridal bouquet was made of dark blue delphinium and white/ivory roses, wrapped in white lace. I couldn't choose which picture I liked best, so I included all of them. :)

The bridesmaid bouquets were made of white stock and blue delphinium wrapped in white lace.

This is one of the corsages made for the mothers of the bride and groom.

The reception was held at the 180 room in Olathe. We used the blue mason jars and put white roses and white stock to accent the lanterns provided by the venue.

It was an honor to work with Christina and Jonathan on their special day! Thanks so much for the opportunity to work with you!
