Heather & David

Heather and David got married right after Christmas, but wanted to make sure their wedding reflected a sophisticated, elegant look. Their colors were soft pink and peach and we strove for an almost Victorian feel. The result was charming, with soft accents that looked heaven-like.

We used the pipe and drape with pillars in front of it. We completed the look with pink drape, white flowers on the pillars, and white lights. We created a complimentary backdrop for the cake, which tied both sides of the room together.

Because they were having the ceremony in the cultural hall, I really focused on making the room look as lovely as possible. The white chair covers really made an impact on that effect.

As we were hoping for a Victorian look, I added a lace overlay on all the tables and decorated an iron birdcage with ivy and peach roses. These small details go a long way in creating an overall atmosphere, especially in a large room. Another detail which adds atmosphere are the centerpieces. The centerpieces that the couple chose for their wedding are swiftly becoming our most popular pieces. It seems that most of my clients ask for a variation on this look. I think this time it was especially lovely with the pink light, white flower, and peach napkin.

Crystal and Brandon

Crystal and Brandon had their wedding ceremony in the same room as their reception, so we set up a nice backdrop for exchanging their vows. Their colors were black and purple, which is different from any wedding I've done before. However, I tried my best to make it look classy and elegant.

The cake topper on their cake had a little figurine of Cinderella and Price Charming, so I tried to make their cake backdrop reflect that princess feel. When I finished I felt that it looked quite Disneyland. :)
