Sydne & Michael

I finally had the opportunity to decorate the Provo Library Ballroom! I have been dying to decorate it for ages and on Aug 8, I finally got my chance. I was delighted to decorate for Sydne and Michael's wedding. Their colors were pink, black, and white in a very classy combination. We used the best of everything!

I met Sydne while I was doing Kimber and Nate's wedding back in April. She was delivering the cake right before the reception when I was finishing everything up. I was sort of going crazy, but she apparently liked what she saw so she called the next week.

We set up the Jen Backdrop again, this time with a pink drape. It was situated right in front of the windows to take advantage of the lovely afternoon light. The natural lighting really complemented the white curtains.



We also provided our full chair covers with black satin sashes, tied into perfect bows.





The tables matched perfectly with white floor-length tablecloths, black satin overlays, and small pink squares. They were topped with lovely centerpieces which I cannot take credit for, although I wish I could. :)

Sydne was one of the best clients I have ever worked with. She was very clear with her expectations and was always right on top of the ball on every aspect of the wedding and because she has such a delightful personality it was a pleasure to do anything I could to make her wedding exactly what she wanted.

Tyler & TaLisha

For Tyler and TaLisha's wedding we actually did very little decoration. In conjunction with Tickled Pink Floral we created the simple, yet lovely, centerpieces of square vases and hot pink daisies. These were lovely, but we were really there to do the catering of the reception. The bride and groom had chosen to do a chocolate fountain with marshmallows, gummy bears, pretzels, bananas, and of course, strawberries.

My staff and I actually really enjoy doing the chocolate fountains because it is one of the few times we get to witness the party in full swing. At Tyler and TaLisha's reception we had a lot of fun listening to the DJ's music and watching the bridal party dance. It was a really fun party!

We actually do the chocolate a bit differently than most in the area. We have constant attendees with the fountain who serve the chocolate into small cups which are then placed on the guest's plate. The guest can then choose what they would like to dip and take it back to their table, dipping into his or her own cup. This is good for a number of reasons. It keeps the chocolate clean and sanitary, avoiding any bits of food that would normally fall in. It also speeds up the line and is not nearly as messy. For these reasons our clients really appreciate our services.

Chantell & Bryce

On June 26th I had the pleasure of decorating for Chantell and Bryce's wedding. Chantell is a bright, bubbly girl with lots of energy and a lot of fun to be around. Her colors were apple green, black, and white. More than anything she wanted a dropped ceiling with paper lanterns, which we were more than happy to provide for her.



We also created unique centerpieces with spider mums and fishbowl-like vases and black rocks in the bottom.



The mother of the bride chose to put up a backdrop that her family had used previously for another daughter's wedding so I created a matching backdrop to put behind the cake. It actually tied together fairly nicely.



In addition to my regular duties, I was able to help the florist (Melissa of Tickled Pink Floral) put the ribbon and flowers on the enormous wedding cake. Seriously, this cake was bigger than anything I had ever seen before. The cake was perfectly accented by the simple decoration of the cake backdrop.



The wedding in all turned out gorgeous and, as usual, we loved doing it!

Jeanne and AJ

Jeanne and AJ had the traditional, backyard reception on a perfect June evening. Her colors were blue and green and we tried hard to create a lovely, garden atmosphere. The backdrop was a white lattice and pillar gateway accented with ivy and white lights.

To bring out the summer garden feeling, we put up strands of lanterns above the eating area. The lanterns really brought out a fun, lovely feeling to the reception.

Jennifer and Chad

Wow, June is just so busy for wedding coordinators! I love cranking out the creativity when the pressure is on!

I was recently able to decorate for Jennifer and Chad's wedding. They were married in the Lindon Courthouse over a bright and sunny Memorial Day weekend. Jennifer's colors were blue and champagne, which were just lovely together. We kept the decorations really simple and I was really happy with the results.

For the backdrop we put up our ever popular "Jen" Backdrop with the most perfect blue drape. It was beautiful in front of the wood framed windows with the light streaming in from behind. To add some enchantment to the room we put white paper lanterns up on the ceiling. I felt that it looked really awesome.

The bride was kinda bummed out that because it was in a courtroom, there was a large metal detector in front of the doorway. I told her not to worry and decorated it with flowers and ivy. The final touch was the paper lantern pathway markers.

EvaLynn and Mitch

I loved the theme of EvaLynn and Mitch's wedding: mountainous wildflowers. Her colors were those of the flowers: blue, pink, purple, yellow and touches of pine green. It was quite lovely. She held her reception in a gorgeous backyard with lots of foliage to add to the feel of the night.


We used a very simple black wrought iron arch for her backdrop, decked out in wildflowers and ivy. The arch blended right into the surrounding decor and made it feel like it had always belonged. We also hung white lanterns from the trees and pathway hooks which was very enchanting when the sun when down.




The centerpieces were fishbowls with river rocks at the bottom and wildflower heads floating with a candle. We had also wrapped bear grass around the inside of the bowl. We put that on top of an organza runner, each table with a different color. It was quite beautiful when the candles were lit.



Some of the little extras we included were the garden fountain with mini black iron trellis. We floated flowers in the fountain to tie in the look. The fountain was actually quite relevant since we had been fighting the rain all day long.



We also dressed up the card birdcage with wildflowers for the gift table and floated flowers in the beautiful pool.






To top it off, I contracted with Tickled Pink Floral to do the flowers for the event and they did an amazing job. Melissa, the floral designer, was able to create a gorgeous bouquet for the bride that looked like she had just gone for a walk and gathered these flowers on the side of a mountain path. Together we also made the adorable flower girl hair wreaths. They were so cute!

The complete event was simply gorgeous and we had a delightful time creating it for the gracious bride and groom.

Cassie and Matt

A few weeks ago I was able to do Cassie and Matt's wedding reception at the U of U Institute Building. It was a fun venue with an interesting layout. Cassie's colors were yellow and white and we did a full decoration package which included: the "Jen" backdrop; matching cake backdrop; paper lanterns; yellow table lanterns; 2 chocolate fountains and the lovely punch fountain. Needless to say, it was a busy day. I didn't get many pictures of the event, but here are a few to give you the idea.
